eSoft and Untangle Announce Web Security Partnership

eSoft and Untangle have partnered to enable small businesses to enforce acceptable network usage polices effectively by blocking and monitoring web traffic. Not to be confused with traditional URL blacklists, eSoft’s SiteFilter technology goes beyond blocking porn and gambling by dynamically classifying online threats like malware distribution, phishing and proxy sites. SiteFilter leverages eSoft’s Distributed Intelligence Architecture (DIA) that inspects over 200 million daily data feeds from its network of sensors, honeypots and alliances with both fine-tuned algorithms and a team of 70 professionally trained analysts working 24x7 to deliver real-time updates and industry leading accuracy.
